At some point I experimented with a Hellenized Latin but didn't get too far with it. When I struggled to think of a way to make the uppercase interesting I bailed on the idea.4 -

Yes, Alde Manuce (the French equivalent of "Aldus Manutius") is the "...alde" in "Garalde" in Maximilien Vox's coinage.1 -

Is this typical? Does that mean that in using a font in an Illustrator composition I wouldn't be licensed to, say, add a texture or trace the edges to make it fractionally bolder?4 -

It's a bit strange that "semibold" is pretty common but "semilight" rather rare.2
